Cultists kill 4 persons in Ebonyi
Govt inaugurates anti-cult force
Clash by rival cult groups have claimed four lives in Ebonyi state.
The victims were killed in a clash at Onueke Ezza South Local Government Area of the state.
Although the identities of the victims were not immediately known, it was gathered that cult clashes have become a regular occurrence in the area.
Meanwhile, the state government on Wednesday inaugurated a local security outfit to help tackle the scourge and also check crimes in the area.
Stanley Emegha, the Commissioner for Internal Security, Border Peace and Conflict Resolution, inaugurated the outfit.
He appealed to the group to tackle secret cults operatives, warning that the government of David Umahi would not condone cult clashes in any part of the state.
